At Camp Ozark, we believe that for kids to have a meaningful experience, first of all, they must have FUN! ... plain and simple. Therefore, at Camp Ozark, each camper chooses only those activities which he or she enjoys and spends a portion of each camping day in those activities. Activities are divided into four main categories:
Sports...Water...Adventure...and
Creative Skills.

At Camp Ozark, we encourage campers to try new activities as well as to refine the skills that they may already possess. All activities are taught by energetic and excited staff members who understand that learning is best accomplished in a fun-filled environment!
Sports
The Ozark Sports Program is designed for campers to have
fun and develop self-confidence while improving their skills. Campers are
encouraged to try new sports. For those campers who desire it, competition
is offered in most sports, but at Ozark, winning is measured by attitude and
effort, not victory or skill level. Carefully selected, qualified
instructors are utilized in all sports activities. Below is a list of

Water
The reason Ozark's Water Activity Program is
so spectacular is simple: Nowhere else, that we know of, has God created such a
naturally great waterfront. All swimming activities take place in our
spring-fed lake under the direction of experienced waterfront instructors and
directors.
Skiing, Wakeboarding, sailing and tubing take place on
sparkling Lake Ouachita, and nothing beats our canoeing and kayaking trips on
the scenic Ouachita River adjoining Camp Ozark. The Blobs, Tube Slide,
Super Slide, Speed Slides, Rampage Slide, Greased Lightning Slide, Water Logs and Water Activity Center at our swimmin' hole are "totally awesome", and nowhere else will you find anything quite like Ozark's famous Ski Coaster. Scuba Diving provides

Adventure
The Adventure Program at Ozark is simply
unparalleled. Our horseback rides through the majestic Ouachita Mountain
trails provide a unique experience never to be forgotten. Mountain biking
provides a different, challenging trail riding thrill while the fishin' hole is
brimming with huge catfish and bass.
The Rope courses, obstacle course, climbing tower, initiative
games, "pamper poles", and "super swing" provide
exhilarating experiences in confidence building and make lifetime
memories. Riflery, skeet shooting and archery at Ozark are affiliated with
national organizations so that each child may earn awards as skills improve.

Creative Skills
The Creative Skills Program at Ozark allows
campers to have fun while learning to express themselves through a variety of
different activities. Jazz and dance team form the cornerstone of our
incomparable dance program. Sign Language, puppetry and rocketry provide a
variety of individual creative outlets. Crafts, basketry, pottery, wood
working, stained glass and ceramics bring out the artistic talent in each and
every child and allow for projects ranging from the very simple to the quite
extensive.
